We’re delighted to announce our first guest speaker in the 2023 Virtual Saturdays at the Library speaker series.
Please join us by Zoom on Saturday, January 28th at 10:30 a.m. as we welcome back local historian and genealogist Colleen Maguire. In this session, Colleen will pull away the black photographer’s cloth to reveal details about the private life of Sallows – where he lived, who his family was, and what they were like.
Colleen Maguire has spent many years researching the life of Reuben R. Sallows, and she was instrumental in establishing the Reuben R. Sallows Gallery at the Goderich Public Library in 2001. She is a recipient of both the Governor General’s History Award for Community Programming and the Huron Arts and Heritage Network’s Heritage Award.
Pre-registration is required for this free, online event: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_d4scvRmMRXer-Cp-X9yVqQ
